many thanks. i am assuming let of to be 3mm , also the damper slap rail on the piano some how had come of and is missing felt which i have replaced, how close should it be to the damper wires . many many thanks to a wonderful service you provide .cheers oliver

Hi, i am regulating a Herrburger-Brooks upright action on a Spencer piano 1930s could anyone please advise on jack slap rail to jack notch settings and any regulation specs specific to this older piano .

Dear Barrie, thanks alot for your quick response,you were correct the keys slope backwards,i have noticed that the bottom board has come away at the treble dropping by 5 mm although even this does not account for the slope .The piano means alot to me and i intend with help from A.Reblitz to make it ...

Spencer piano

i have a spencer upright piano serial no 85863 if possible could you advise me on the date , also i have noticed that the keybed/frame slopes significantly from the front of the keys to the back is this normal any help would be appreciated .many thanks, oliver.
