Thanks for the reply, Bill. No, it isn't preceeded with the 'K' but 1936 sounds plausible. I bought it 15 years ago from a man who was going into a retirement home (his date of birth was 31st Dec 1899) and he wanted it to go to a good home. Not entirely sure if it had an owner before him. I have tried looking everywhere to find the date of my beloved piano to no avail.
It is a B. Squire upright with serial number 52541.
Any info would be appreciated.
