Just to say thanks again, I now have my Sennheiser headphones and just as you said, they sound good and they're comfortable.

I'm delighted and I suspect my neighbours are even more so.

Thank you! They're available in pixmania, they're well within the price range i was hoping for - and according to the page the cable is 3m - sounds perfect!

It's the bits in my ear which pop out - I don't think I'd get a very good grip with blu tac!



ETA....though maybe a hat crammed on tightly on top would help to secure them?

A little pair that came free with a laptop have a 1.5m cable (i measured it because it's perfect) - the problem is they're they little plug type things that pop out if you cough or even breath ...

I read a similar scam - maybe on this forum - about someone selling a piano (on e-bay I think) who was contacted, sent a cheque for overpayment as was asked for the etra money to be "returned". Apparently it's often tried on naive ebay sellers.
