Just to say thanks again, I now have my Sennheiser headphones and just as you said, they sound good and they're comfortable.
I'm delighted and I suspect my neighbours are even more so.

It's the bits in my ear which pop out - I don't think I'd get a very good grip with blu tac!
ETA....though maybe a hat crammed on tightly on top would help to secure them?

Thanks both - I hadn't thought of an extension cable and will have a look when the shops re-open tomorrow. A little pair that came free with a laptop have a 1.5m cable (i measured it because it's perfect) - the problem is they're they little plug type things that pop out if you cough or even breath ...

First off, I'm no expert, I have a simple Casio Privia and I just play (badly) for my own enjoyment. I'm looking for recommendations for earphones. Most come with a cable that's just a bit too short, the standard seems to be 1-1.2m which ties me to the LHS of the keyboard. 1.5m is far more comfortab...
