I have sought advice and been told that even though it is free ,,, if it does not keep it's pitch it won't be in tune ??? I was told to decline the offer... thanks a lot for the info provided ... gave me an idea of where to start looking.... btw anyone know anything about Joseph Riley Piano's ?

I have been scouring the net... including E Bay ... looking for my first piano... got one to view near my home on Sat but a friend has offered me a church piano which keeps tue but loses pitch ... as a beginner I am wondering weather my untrained ear will notice as I just want something to practice ...
