I have trouble seeing music sheets with smaller print,thinking different bulbs in lamp or page magnifier or a music stand closer where I could still see the keys.Im using a Yamaha PG235, any thoughts would appreciated,, jabarr

Hi Phil Good going,when you are as old as I am you will be able to really swing,Im 83,started at 75.Did not get a teacher, dumb.taught myself even dumber,bought all kind of books,thinking this will make me really good,wrong.It took me way to long to realize that practice is the only way to go.Well n...

Fake book extended chords
Not enough fingers to do an extended chord and if I use the right hand to add notes,how do I play the melody,bear with me please,I sound mixed up even to me.

I've read to play extended left hand chords add needed notes to right hand but won't that mess up the treble cleff playing?

Thank you markymark for your quick response and you are probably right. But so far I find the 235 more natural and have the thumb ready and waiting for 7th chords. As you mentioned it may become a problem for some inversions and progressions so I will just have to feel my way through. I might add it...

Left hand fingering for triads
I use 2 3 5 L.H. for triads and 1 2 3 for R.H. triads,a little stretch there but it gives me extra fingers for larger chords,am I wrong?
