Chorusing & phazing on chords & single note strike
What is the usual cause of this and how do you fix it. When i strike a chord on my piano in the middle C region spanning 2-2.5 octaves, I get a phasing chorusing kind of chord. Some notes don't sound as full and even as other notes on a single note strike. Are these problems that can be fixed or is ...

Do manufacturers from 10 years ago to now, sold their pianos not tuned to concert pitch? Isn't concert pitch a set standard for piano instruments, why wouldn't a manufacturer or store follow those guidelines? Do manufacturers tune the piano to Concert Pitch before it goes out but then as it travelle...

It was previously used for Music Lessons for members of the sports club. I can't figure out why it did...

Should I skip the tuner and just go straight and hire a piano tech or repairer. Most tuners here dont have the abilties to repair or restore as well as tune but mainly voicing and regulations and tuning only. The thing is, would a tuner who doesnt repair a piano know more than a piano tech who repai...

Upright piano problems, what could it be? Help.
I have just received my Upright Piano thats 10 years old. But it doesn't sound right. It hasn't been tuned for a year apparently. Does anyone know what could be causing the following problems and maybe how much this may cost me to have it sounding nice and fixed. It has a very annoying twang sound t...
