Crane & Sons

Have a client with a "Crane & Sons" upright although only a straight-strung have just had it re-polished - as it`s been in the family from new. Any idea of the actual makers of these anyone please? I believe Kennards made some instruments for dealers to badge as they pleased .......

t`internet piano dealers

I`ve been lumbered with numerous (old & knackered) pianos - both upt & grands that naive customers have bought "cheaply" off t`internet !! Also, been asked to view eBay & advise on sellers description and price on the website for a potential buyer- this really brings us tuners ...

Steinway upright :

Steinway was totally rebuilt in 70`s (inc. restringing, action restored, new hammers, plastic keytops, + re-felting)
surely worth something , guys ?

No not verdigris, but some hammer-flanges need re-centring due to "play" .
