Re: Fazer acoustic
Thank you for all the replies. I had no idea that a piano would need to be re voiced etc. I was under the impression that it got delivered and away you go. It’s a bit sensitive really, as it was a gift, so I don’t want to disappoint the wife, but I wouldn’t have chosen it. She went in to get me a be...

Re: Fazer acoustic
Hi
Yes, I saw that when I first got it, as I wanted to do a bit of research on them.
It’s a bit awkward really as it’s a birthday present from the wife and I never played it first. Can’t really ask her to send it back.

Re: Fazer acoustic
Thanks for all your replies. Perhaps I am just a philistine and prefer the digitals.
The shop advised to tune it after 2 months but I don’t think that’s a free service and they told me voicing would be at my cost.
I might see if they would swap it for something that’s suits me (and the neighbours)

Re: Fazer acoustic
Thanks for the reply. I have played pianos in the shop whose action feels much smoother and tone much more even; easier to play would be the way to describe it. But these were much more expensive, higher end models, so perhaps it is an expectation issue. Maybe I just prefer the digital sound and fee...

Fazer acoustic
Hi I am a new member; thanks for having me. I have just acquired a fazer refurbished piano having been playing and learning on a fairly good digital piano. However it doesn’t sound great to me. Some of the notes, particularly the bass notes sound metallic and it’s difficult to play quietly. It sound...
