can a yamaha p60 half pedal?????
I own a p60, and would like half pedaling. Now, nowhere in the original advertisiing specs does it mention half pedaling until I thumb through the manual. It says that half pedeling is possible with the use of an Fc3 pedal. However I can find no reference to this anywhere else. Is it just a manaal m...

Broadwood upright restoration? Cost breakdown?
We have in our family a John broadwood upright. I know litttle about its specifics, but is a large upright, made around 1930. It belonged to my Grandad, who cherished it. When he died It came to our house, where I have played on it ever since. My question is could someone give me abreakdown of the r...

Re: electric piano for home (and studio)
Hi mate, In your price bracket, there is only one option. A Yammaha GT20. This is a Grantouch, has a wooden piano keyboard (taken from one of thier uprights), and only has one sound. Piano. It takes its entire ROM allocation (16meg), and utilises it for just that one sound. The sound is unbeatable. ...

Thanks for the reply mate, Yeah you make good points, I suppose demand wouldnt really be their. I buying a yammy p60 and intend to build a replica Rhodes case to house it (the sound will be through a different module, as the yammys rhodes is orrible!). Should look pretty cool when done, and will be ...

Thanks mate, yeah I tried both side by side through a trusted pair of headphones, and the p60 came out on top. Both had good lower/mid registers, but the higher registers on the korg seemed rather harsh. Neither had anything even close to a rhodes, which is a shame, but my nanosynth is half decent a...

Why no Rhodes reproductions??.......
This has bugged me for a while now, why havent, well I guess its Roland now, produced a reproduction of the Mk1, and Mk2 suitcase pianos?? I for one, would love to be able to purchase a new mk2 88! Whilst I understand some may find a new rhodes not quite the done thing, but I dont doubt it would be ...

Korg sp200 v Yamaha p60
Hey guys (an gals),
Ive whittled it down to either the P60, or the sp200.
My main priority is obviously a good piano sound, followed by a decent rhodes/wurly.
I only ever play, blues, boogie ect.. so what do you reckon?? anyone used both??
Thanks
