Thanks for the speedy reply. Yes your right ,on double checking it is Hirschfeld. The text they used has the F & E similar (thats my excuse anyway).
I dont know much about them but it has this number stamped in two places inside. 2393.

Can any one please help me identify my piano.
It has "Joh. Hirscheeld Berlin" inlaid in brass on the front. It is black and has a great sound. I have looked all over the internet but cant find out any info. Thanks
