Yes, I have bought a Bluthner Model A. It is a beautiful instrument and I am enjoying every minute I spend with it. I already notice a significant improvement in my playing which is probably due to the fact that I cannot pass it without sitting down for an hour or two!

Hi and thanks to all who replied. In the end, I decided to wait for a new piano to be delivered to the dealer. I will audition it before accepting delivery but I am hoping things will go smoothly. Many thanks Barrie. The finish is black polyester and the piano is from a very good maker so it should be thick. I am much reassured.
