I will post a pic tomorrow. I've searched the Internet but can't find another K20 with similar legs. I'm wondering if they've been replaced as these taper and have conical metal caps at the bottom, much like a 1960's table leg. I've seen a K20 with turned legs that attach to cross members and earlie...

Thank you. There is no date as far as I can see - the bottom note has what appear to be initials - maybe a tuner? On removing the bottom front panel I found two more numbers - 28784 on the rear wooden panel - the soundboard? And 10560 on part if the metal frame near the base. Curiously, the front ta...

Knight K20 - advice on age

I have just purchased a Knight K20 upright for my daughter. The number inside reads 29565 and I think, from my own research and judging by the style of the case, that this may date the piano from the early 1960's. I'd be grateful if anyone could give me any further insight. Thank you.
