Thnaks for your reply. The number appears to be stencilled on the frame as you described. The info you supplied was very helpful as the piano came through the son of an elderly lady who would have been well into her 80's at the time (back in the mid 80's).

Hi
I inherited a George Rogers upright piano some 30 years ago. It appears to have a serial number on the frame (top right, inside when viwed from the front). The number is 28936. Is it possible to idebtify when this frame/piano was made from that number?
