thanks for your help, i rang j reid and spoke to a removal man and a piano tuner. there isn't a great deal of difference in removal costs even though the piano is upstairs, but this piano would cost a lot more to tune as it hasn't been tuned for years so will need more visits. so i'm going to go for...

thanks, if it's the same make would it be the same quality or does one manufacturer make pianos aimed at different price ranges of varying quality? you can tell i know nothing about pianos! i used to want to learn as a child, but we didn't have a piano so i couldn't.
