Ok thank you, i estimated the piano to be 1830/40's from the style of it but one can be quite mistaken.I will look forward to any further info that can be found.

Hello, with the Uebel i have come to a dead loss with info, i contacted the company to no avail as they never replied. i made several phone calls to people who may be in the know in Australia, no one seems to know but from viewing a few of them i feel the non harp models dont seem to be the quality ...

Can any one help me with two queries please. Why have some Uebel and Lechleiter pianos got the harp shape cast into their piano frames in the centre of the pin block and others have the serial number in that spot? Both have the medallions on the right hand side. Is this a model or a quality differen...

Hello again,thank you for replying,yes the spelling is correct and yes it does say Hamburg, i was told on purchase of this item that it came from the denmark museum many years ago and they brought it over to Australia when the family migrated.The depth is two foot eight approx and six foot 3 inches ...
