Thanks for your help, I guess i'll have to settle for not knowing any more... I would have liked to restore the writing above the keys, but can't work out what it says...

Hi everyone, I found a lovely piano in a charity shop and bought for my wife as a present. It is, as the title suggests, made by Dyson & sons, Croydon. On the top right hand inside is the number 152? There also used to be some letters in gold above the keys but most of th letters have faded away...
