It's actually for a little midi controller that I'm using to practice. It's absurd, but it's probably cheaper to buy a new yamaha and just have it sit on the floor, using it as a midi slave.
I can't imagine why you can't buy the equivalent of an rd300sx or a yamaha 'without the keys'.
