Only got less than 2 hours a day for checking emails, joining forums, updating my blog... Wow, it's really expensive in terms of my currency, approximately Mala...

Yes, exactly and that's why everyone is unique.
Hmm....when start to play new songs, especially choir practice, need choir members to sing the tune first (soprano's part)

Re: Software to learn piano
Thank you for your comment markymark. In my church, i think improvisation is the challenge faced by every piano player during choir practice/presentation. Some of the pianist play as if they're playing for the church sermons. So i thought that if there's any other way to learn how to improvise, that...

Re: an adult learner, HELP - FRUSTRATED
Hi ilovemypiano, i'm kind of envious that you can read music sheets, as for me, i saw the music sheets as i see some bean sprouts (frankly to say), so i hope that u wont give up your piano lesson. Maybe after i finished my master degree i will take the piano lesson formally. It's better late than ne...

Re: Learning without a teacher?
Yes, certainly you can learn without a teacher.. But in case you want to take the ABRSM Grade 1 exam, you need to get people opinions from music background first.Coz it might be risky, since you've to pay for the exam right? Yes, beware of scams. I suggest don't learn from online, just buy the books...

Yes, I had the experience. In 2008, I changed my spectacle coz even with my glasses I can't read the signboards while i'm driving!!. Even i play the piano during the church sermons, I missed to play some place (i dont read tabs, i just know the solfage, and the beats/tempo) my right's degree up to 5...

Re: When did you start learning?
Since I was 9 i guess, not formally but my uncle bought me a keyboard for my birthday. Since then, I'm just playing the piano with my right hand, then when i was 12 with my both hands...but i know the sound was not in tune. I never learn piano tabs, i juz play by ear...now i'm already 26, but i thin...
