Discount dealers
Hi, If you decide you would like a Yamaha, Chris Venables in Hampshire seems to do the most amazing deals. My sister in law recently bought a new U5 for a heavily discounted price and I think their reputation for prepping pianos is admirable. They have a good website: www.chrisvenables.co.uk. The gu...

Kemble Millenium Quantum
javascript:emoticon('')Took delivery today of the Kemble. What a joy to play such a beautiful instrument, I can hardly believe it! It's a pity you can't look after it for me Barrie, but I've got a guy lined up who comes highly recommended-used to do the City Hall pianos apparently. Thanks again...

Kemble Millenium Quantum
I love the Kemble. It's definately brand new. I'd be interested to know why you think it's been stood around in the shop for so long as it's such a good instrument and what do other people who have looked at it think? Thanks-really grateful for all the advice and follow up comments.

Kemble Millenium Quantum
Thanks Barrie. Yes it is the one in Sheffield with the damaged case (3 small chips and a scrape). Is it still worth 'grabbing with both hands' at 4,500? I have played it again today and it is lovely!

Steinway Model Z-help please
Looking for a 'new' piano I have the chance to buy a (rather ugly!) 1984 Steinway Z model in excellent condition for ?5,500 which is right at the top of my budget. Can you tell me anything about this model? Is this a good price? Would I be better advised using the money to buy a good quality brand n...
