Re: Help with 'clicky key' on Kawai upright

Does seem strange that 2 cushion felts almost side by side would come off at the same time. Hope it's not a mouse as they tend to want to come indoors for a bit of heat at this time of year. eek!

Thanks. Fortunately I'm not in it. Whew! We're pretty much there at £12k.

Re: eavestaff royal pianette mini piano

Andy

If it's been a while since it was tuned last it might be a good idea to have it tuned at least, that way it'll sound better to a prospective buyer viewing it and the tuner should hopefully give you a verbal indication on it's value.

Re: determining piano value

I’m curious to know why you’ve mentioned 121’s. I’m guessing you have a least a couple of 121 pianos in question?

Re: Pianos & Autism

It's such an intense but very interesting subject. I think we all live on the very varying degrees of the autistic spectrum and I like to think of it as the 'The Spectrum Of Normality'. Re: ESTONIA PIANOS ?

Estonia pianos really are the mutt's dangly bits. We have a second hand 170 in stock and it is truly AMAZING. It's right that the Americans buy up most of their stock and no wonder. Catch one if you can!

Re: Wendl und Lung 218

I agree with what chris has said. Gordon and I have both seen and played the 218 on a W&L visit last year. W&L are great company. Also the 218 is a great price. Keep saving for the model 'B'.

BTW. The Bently in question? Chances are, it should be OK. But like others have said, get it checked out by a reputable tuner first, paying close attention at the plastic damper flanges, if it has.
