Hind in Halifax

Thanks, Bill.

The restorers had removed the "Hinds" logo when repolishing but I found a pre-restoration photo. You are quite correct, it IS "Albert" not "Alfred"

(And, yes, it does smell of curry powder when you open the lid!)

Last year I bought a 100 year old Bechstein "B" for restoration, which has gone well so far. I am trying to trace its history. It started life in 1907 being sold by Bechstein to a music publisher (C.A.Andre) in Frankfurt. When I got it it had the logo "Alfred Hinds Halifax" under...
