I am a tech. The Fall in not attached to the blocks and still wont come out even with the blocks out.

How do I remove the Fall on a Wheelock grand piano? It dose not seem to lift out and is not attached to the cheak blocks. There are two small appetures on the back edge. I can see the pins it pivots on down the sides. Is it just a case of a very firm pull? I didn't want to do this in case damage was...
