Thanks - I will take another close look, but I cannot find any number stamped on the frame. The marker pen number 6837 is very clear - although not applied very professionally - I wondered whether that was just the stock number. Will contact Russell Acott in Oxford who supplied it.

Can someone help me identify my Bentley please? It was made in approx 1988-1990 - the serial number appears to be 6387 - markerpen on frame - but not stamped. There is a label on the frame - 86/420199 - but this number is too high for 1986 according to the Bentley historic data.
