Thanks for the information! Yes, a "generic" background as you and Bill describe seems very likely, but judging from the styling, the piano's relatively young. I'm still waiting for it to be delivered to inspect it more closely.

I've just bought a "Brahms" piano cheap at auction, but I can't find any mention online about this brand. Any help?
