Thanks for your reply. Went to see the piano today and it is in immaculate condition! It plays beautifully and just needs a really good tune. I phoned Kawai and they said it was made in China then shipped to Japan to have its strings and hammers fitted. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I wonder if anyone could help me? Not knowing much about piano makes but loving playing, I am looking at buying a Kawai KX10 second hand (2005).
